Guam - Last Tuesday, Mid-Pacific Distributors launched the new Guam beer at the Hilton Guam Resort and Spa. Japanese sports celebrities Osamu Higashio and Riko Higashio were at the launch party. Guam Beer is one of many of Ken Corporation's marketing tools to increase the volume of visitors abroad, particularly from Japan.

Higashio is best known for his baseball career in Japan's professional league from 1969 to 1988. His daughter Riko is a professional golfer.

The beer can be purchased at various locations to include Payless Supermarkets, ABC Stores, and Kmart. It will also be available at hotels on island.
