Guam - The Guam International Airport Authority received positive feedback from the Federal Aviation Administration this week. Airport General Manager Carlos Salas says this was the FAA's annual visit to ensure the airport is in compliance with its grant standards.
While there were preliminary issues found such as markings on the facility, a poor public address system, and a mobile fueler that needs repairs, Salas sys he considers these areas insufficient. However, he does say that he is interested in making the improvements to ensure that the airport continues to receive positive reviews and funding from the federal government.
