Guam - The Public Utilities Commission is scheduled to meet Thursday. One of the big items on their agenda is the Guam Power Authority's 3% base rate increase. If the PUC approves the rate hike, customers will see about a $6 jump on their monthly power bill.
GPA hopes to start charging more by next month, with the additional revenue planned to go towards improvement projects.
Thursday's PUC meeting will be held in the GCIC Building in Hagatna starting at 6pm.
