Senator to seek funding

Guam - He's now back in Washington, DC, but Virginia senator Jim Webb during a press conference on island Friday night said he is committed to seeking increased funding for the infrastructure needs of Guam in relation to the impending Marines' relocation as well as money for the Port Authority of Guam. Webb also said he supports firing ranges in Tinian to reduce the overall military footprint on Guam.

He added it would be difficult for the U.S. to move forward on decisions for the buildup until Japan makes a decision on the Futenma Replacement Facility.
