Vice-speaker posts DEIS comments on his site

Guam - With the deadline to submit public feedback on the draft EIS having passed last week, the Vice-Speaker of the 30th Legislature posted his own thoughts on the military migration strategy. B.J. Cruz submitted no fewer than 147 comments and recommendations to the Joint Guam Program Office last Wednesday, which you can see at SenatorBJCruz.com.

Calling the massive document "inadequate", he wrote, "Guam is not ready for this buildup and the draft waffles between diminishing serious deficiencies and acknowledging them with half-hearted suggestions. I made it clear in my comments that an entirely new DEIS must be presented with an additional review and comment period or I will continue to oppose the buildup and recommend the no-action alternative."
