Guam - The University of Guam's nursing program is being recommended for a full eight years of accreditation. The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission site visit team made the announcement during an exit interview today. The final report and findings of the team's visit are expected to be released in August.
UOG President Dr. Robert Underwood congratulated the nursing program faculty and staff for their efforts and the positive outcomes for students. UOG nursing graduates who completed their studies last year and took the National Licensing Exam for Registered Nurses earned a 94% pass rate - exceeding the national average of 89%.
