Guam - Tomorrow is the deadline for Government of Guam agencies to submit detailed budgets for the coming fiscal year to the Bureau of Budget Management & Research. BBMR Director Bertha Duenas says her agency will spend the next month combing over the finances of each government department before certifying the budgets and sending it to lawmakers.
The Camacho Administration has pegged the Fiscal Year 2011 budget at $600 million. Duenas says agencies must meet the ceiling that was given to them, as their budget submissions will not be acknowledged if they go over the amount that was allotted to them.
