Agat bridge up for much-needed restoration

Guam - Restoration work will begin soon for the Taliyfek Bridge in Agat. Guam Preservation Trust Chief Program Officer Joe Quinata says the project is expected to begin in the coming weeks. The bridge has sustained massive damage from typhoons and other natural disasters.

"The Agat Bridge is a remnant of the Spanish Period," Quinata explained.  "The Agat Bridge it is the trail for the El Camino Royale, the royal trail down to Umatac."
