Guam - Superior Court Pro-Tem Judge Bradley Klemm denied a group of residents' request that sought to force the Government of Guam to put a landfill at Guatali or Mala'a.  Former mayor of Ordot-Chalan Pago Rosanna San Miguel and others filed a lawsuit six years ago, asking the lower court to force the public sector to stop efforts to construct a landfill at Layon.

The residents argued the government was breaking the law by not moving forward with work at Guatali and Mala'a.

Today Judge Klemm granted the government's motion for a judgment after denying the residents' request.
