Camacho declares Youth Year 2010

Guam - Governor Felix Camacho signed a proclamation this week that kicked-off Youth Year 2010.  This year's theme is "Free the Nation From Underage Intoxication", a series of events that focus on underage drinking prevention programs will be coordinated by the Department of Youth Affairs for middle and high school students throughout the rest of the year.

To initiate this series of programs DYA is coordinating a student exchange program next week wherein a total of over 400 students will switch places with a student at another school for at least one day to experience the issues confronting the youth at other schools on Guam.
