Possible homeless woman hit while crossing the street

Guam - A female pedestrian was struck by officers from the Frankie Smith Police Station at around 11:51 Saturday night. According to Guam Police Department Spokesperson Officer Allan Guzman, the officers were traveling on Route 1 in Tamuning, heading northbound on the outer lane by the Kmart intersection, when they collided with a female pedestrian crossing the roadway towards JFK High School.

The female pedestrian was pronounced dead on the scene.

Officer Guzman says no identification has been made, but she may be a homeless person who has been seen walking the streets of Guam, carrying large bags. No additional information has been provided in this case.
