Hara taking Rector complaint to Legislature

by Nick Delgado

Guam - Anticipating the Guam Election Commission won't do anything, Eloy Hara is finalizing his formal complaint to the Guam Legislature's Ethics Committee regarding Senator Matt Rector.  "The Legislature is still the body that has to take the action to either have a recall vote," said Hara, "or I guess through their ethics committee they can come to some kind of resolution to the issue.

"Like I said, I will follow this issue through until a resolution is accomplished."

Meanwhile, the Ethics Committee is holding a special meeting tomorrow, during which its legal counsel will provide a review of the complaint filed by Port Authority of Guam board chair Monte Mesa against Senator Rector. The meeting is scheduled for 10 in the morning.
