Guam - Residents have until close of business this Friday to submit an application for a job with the Guam Census Office located at the new Pac-Air facility in Tiyan. Census Advisor Justin McLaughlin says he and his staff must now begin to review more than 1,600 applications collected to fill roughly 500 open positions to conduct the decennial count.
Positions range from enumeration, security and clerical, with wages vary between $16.88 and $21.88 an hour. "We are looking forward to parsing through those applications to determine qualified candidates getting back to people probably in the next couple of months," McLaughlin said.
