Guam - At Southern High School, students are still without a gym.  That school's facility has been shut down since the end of last school year because it lacked adequate ventilation. According to Acting Facilities and Maintenance Manager Billy Cruz, they're hoping to put out the bid to get a brand new air conditioning unit in order for the task force to reopen the facility.

He does admit he's not too sure if doe has enough money from the bond to cover the project.  "We are recommending that we re-bid the air conditioning project at southern high school and that has to be done through the Procurement Office."

As for whether the other issues dealing with mold, lack of working A/Cs around the campus and the leak in the locker rooms have been addressed, Cruz says those issues have been taken care of.
