Guam - Ground was broken today at Untalan Middle School to kickoff repairs and renovations to the school's gymnasium, which was shutdown in June due to health and safety violations.
Principal Eleuterio Mesa said, "The group of people that are really the happiest at this point in time are really the students. As you know, practically any ailment or any disease, one of the major recommendation is to exercise. And when we have a group of young adolescent students that are so full of energy had to do it in the classroom."
Loyal Pacific was awarded the contract for repairs and renovations for approximately $600,000.
