First Lady shows off Guam holiday ornaments

by Heather Hauswirth

Guam - First Lady Joann Camacho kicked-off the holiday promotion for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Guam today at the Hilton Guam Resort and Spa. The Hilton is one of five local hotels under the Ken Corporation participating in the fundraising effort.

The others include the Pacific Islands Club, Nikko and Sheraton. You can purchase an ornament for $10; in exchange you will receive a Guam coin.  "The Make-A-Wish does a lot for our children, our special children and Christmas is a great season, when you make wishes, they come true," Camacho told KUAM News.

The promotion will be on going through January 6.
