Guam - Governor Felix Camacho spoke to attendees of the 12th Micronesian Chief Executives' Summit today at the Sheraton Hotel.  The governor focused on the ways that Guam will partner with leaders in Micronesia moving forward.

Executives from the Marshall Islands, the Republic of Palau, Yap, the Federated States of Micronesia, Pohnpei, Kosrae and the CNMI are all in attendance.  The two-day conference focuses on workforce development in light of the impending military buildup.

The governor says he is working with these leaders to meet the Micronesian challenge.  "Guam, along with Saipan and all of Micronesia, are really at forefront of many collaborative initiatives whether it be environment, energy, biodiversity, invasive species, you name it, there are many issues," he announced.  On many fronts, we are tackling this effort."
