Emergency units responded to an auto accident along Marine Corps Drive near the East Agana Mobil gas station Sunday evening where a Toyota FJ Cruiser collided with a pickup truck. The crash forced authorities to shut down all southbound lanes while victims were being treated and the accident site was being assessed.

Guam Fire Department Spokesman Joey San Nicolas says the accident at first appeared to be serious, but later ended up being classified as a minor crash. No further details were released.

Guam Memorial Hospital nursing supervisory staff said that as of 11 pm Sunday, a 44-year-old woman involved in the crash was taken to the emergency room where she was in stable condition, and was undergoing observation for minor injures she sustained from the accident.
