Bulldogs beat Knights in season opener

In girls high school basketball, the Okkodo Bulldogs won their season opener against the St. John's Knights at home. The Bulldogs slipped past the Knights 31-28 behind Chantal Torres, who put up 15 points.

St. John's had trouble finding the basket but Christian Cayanan still managed to drop 10 on Okkodo. The home team brought the "D" as April Colitoy came up with the steal and dished it off to Joemane Sapungan for the bucket. Colitoy finished the game with 6 points.

In other scores, St. Paul beat out JFK 61-30. ND got the win over Guam High 63-44, while GW topped Southern High 45-22.
