In soccer news, despite being shorthanded for the entire 1st half, the Orange Crushers managed to slip away with the 7-0 win over Community First in the Under-16 Division. Joe Taitano got things going, blasting a shot from 18 yards out, giving his team the 1-0 lead.

10 minutes later, Taitano answered back, this time, taking a one-touch shot that sailed pass the keeper, extending the crushers lead to 2 goals.

John Donna finally capped in the 3rd goal of the game, 5 minutes later, going 1-on-1 with the keeper, giving his team the 3-0 lead heading into halftime. In the 2nd half, the Crushers scored 4 more goals, 2 coming from Jon Sardea, and 1 from Jacob Garces and Erica Evangelista, as they eventually went on to take the 7-0 win.
