Cougars' Bais named volleyball MVP

Coaches from the IIAAG HS Volleyball League selected the League's 1st and 2nd team. Selected the #1 pick of the1st team and League's Most Valuable Player is Academy of Our Lady of Guam Cougar Outside Hitter Elyse Bais, followed by Adrianne Blaz from the Simon Sanchez Sharks.

GW's Jyvina Pangilinan and Knight's Morgan Crisostomo were chosen as both middle blockers while St John's Kristie Hammond took honors as opposite. Geckos Mariana Quinata and teammate Tasha Paloma rounded out the last 2 picks of the 1st team, as both a setter and libero.

JFK's Jessica Nunez took home honors as the 1st pick of the 2nd team along with her teammate Kim Aquino.  ND's Mary Gillian and Jaime Plagman also made the 2nd team squad, along with Sharks Regina Shiroma and Tamar Celis.  

GW's Veronica Ige rounded out the last spot on the 2nd team as opposite.
