DFS bests Sanko in business basketball

In Week 5 of action of the Shirley's Basketball League, DFS Galleria took on MHI/Sanko. MHI's Tony Portka put down 10 quick points to give his team the early 10- 4 lead. Jason Canderlaria, Chris Rosero and Nick Dungca stepped up for DFS combining for a total of 24 points in the last 5minutes of play to give DFS a 32-21 halftime lead.

In the 2nd half, DFS extended their lead to 20 points with their transition game, as Dungca was able to finish the other way. MHI/Sanko tried finding their groove but failed to do so, as DFS eventually went on to take the 61-43 win. Candelaria led DFS with 18 points while Dungca contributed with 16. 

In other games, St. Corp beat out MBI 60-52, as Chris Blaz had 15 for St. Corp.  Goody's fell to Cost-U-Less 54-47, with Anson Williander getting 29 for Cost-U-Less, Sea Grill beat out Mobil 68-48 with Julius Yu 37 in the win.
