Action hot in GPA hoops league

In basketball, Generation/Engineering and IPP took to the court in the DPR GPAEA/IPP Basketball League from the Guam Sports Complex.  Generation quickly took a 5-point lead, off several breakaways from the start. IPP's Joe Burgos kept his team in the match, as he helped cut the lead down to 2 points with 5 minutes left into the 1st half.

Generation answered back in the last minute of the half, as they went into the locker room with an 18-11 lead. In the 2nd half, defense played a huge for role for Generation, as turnovers and steals led to easy buckets, giving them a 15-point lead. IPP tried cutting the lead down, but strong offensive game by generation only extended their lead to 20 points.

Generation would wind up taking the 43-28 win.  Troy Anderson led generation with 12 points while Joe Burgos led IPP with 10 points in the losing effort. In other action Administration moved into 1st place with the win against Pruvient 48-37.

Rick Cruz led the way in the win with 13 points.
