The 2009 Shirley's Basketball All-Star Game brought together the best players from around the league, showcasing both skill and talent. The game started off with both teams exchanging the lead, off several fast breaks and free throws.

Julius Yu and Carlito Reyes sparked an 8-point scoring spree, giving Team A an 18-10 lead. Anson Williander and Rolly Ollet gave some heat for Team B, as they helped their team take back the lead. Speed and precision shooting however proved crucial for Team A, as they rallied back, scoring at will and taking a 37-27 halftime lead.

Yu led the charge for Team A, as he dropped 18 points in the 1st half while Anson Williander had 12pts for team B. In the 2nd half, Team A extended their 10-point lead to 19 off accurate shooting and fast breaks, giving them a 46-27 lead.

Joaquin Charfarous, Mike Brown, and Rolly Ollet brought the game within distance for Team B, as they were able to drop the lead down to 9 points. Jun Navarro and Nick Dungca, however, did not let the momentum fade away for Team A, as they help maintain the lead for their team, with both players combining for a total of 20 points in the 2nd half.

Team B tried making a desperate comeback, but foul trouble and turnovers haunted their efforts as Team A held on strong, taking the 70-57 win.

Navarro led all scorers with 24 points, earning him MVP honors, while Jay Charfarous led Team B with 14.

Navarro, who plays for Planet Hollywood, also took this year's 3-point shootout.  He drained 7 treys, defeating Bank of Guam's Carlito Reyes, who manage to drop 5 of his own.
