The threat of Tropical Storm 18W is past, so Guam was returned to Condition of Readiness 4 sometime around 1pm Wednesday.  A second storm, Tropical Storm Melor, continues to be in the region.

The Guam Power Authority reminds the public that during and after a storm, the island's power system may be unstable.  Customers are advised to make an internal electrical inspection of the home or business.  Customers operating a generator are urged to shut off the main breaker of all buildings that are connected to the generator.
