Blas asks for support on Capitol Hill

Senator Frank Blas, Jr. has launched a letter campaign to members of the Senate currently considering the 2010 Defense Reauthorization Act. The Republican lawmaker has written letter to republican Senator John McCain and Carl Levin requesting they ensure the Guam World War II Loyalty Recognition Act remains in the defense bill.

The Act is dedicated to more than 1,100 Chamorros who were executed or died during the Japanese occupation of Guam during World War II.
