Senator Frank Blas, Jr. is hoping to get the public's input on Resolution 160, which requests that Congress grant Guam full voting rights in the U.S. House of Representatives. Blas will hold the three public hearings - the first to be held this Wednesday at the Barrigada Community Center.
The Republican lawmaker says Guam must have a voice as Congress is making decisions that will impact the people and the territory. The resolution asks Congress for the opportunity to participate in decisions that will affect us here.
Another public hearing will be held in Yigo on September 18 with another in Inarajan on September 23. All the hearings will be held at 6 in the evening.
