Posted: Updated:

The Guam Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating the suspect involved in the stabbing incident at Ritidian Mart that took place Friday night. According to GPD Spokesperson Officer Allan Guzman, a male individual walked into the store and began speaking with the victim, a 25-year-old woman. Shortly thereafter, the owner told him that the girl was still working and wasn't scheduled to be off until later that night. The suspect went behind the counter and stabbed her multiple times.

Police are looking for Mcintee Sharep Joshua, male, about 5'5"- 5'7" and weighs about 180-220 pounds and has a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, black jeans and an olive green shirt. The police were able to locate the vehicle in which he fled.

If you happen to see an individual matching that description, do not approach him because he considered armed and very dangerous. If you have any additional information on the case, call GPD at 4728911.

In the meantime, the woman is in the Intensive Care Unit at the Guam Memorial Hospital and is under close observation.
