"The Hills Have Eyes"
by Sonya Artero

The Hills Have Eyes is a remake of a 1977 thriller about an All-American family on vacation who gets attacked by cannibalistic mutants. En route to California, the family, who consists of a retired police detective, his wife and their three grown children, their son-in-law and a baby find themselves stranded in the middle of the desert.

One after the next, each family member is assaulted by crazed miners who were caught in the nuclear testing fallout of the '40s and '50s. From the get-go, The Hills Have Eyes features nonstop, blood, guts, and gore. The cast of victims and survivors pull off their parts, making each incident believable. The visual and special effects are truly superb as the various hellish hillbillies.

If you like the feeling of being literally scared out of your seat, The Hills Have Eyes is the gory movie you want to see on the big screen.
