A Customs officer was arrested and relieved of his duties after being accused of pointing a gun at a fellow officer. Acting Customs director Ralph Sgambelluri confirms the officer was suspended indefinetly, pending the outcome of an Internal Affairs investigation.

The alleged incident happened while the two officers were working at the Guam International Airport earlier this week. Sources close to KUAM News confirm the officer accused of pointing the gun is Raymond Blas. Sgambelluri says the officer's weapon was taken away and an Internal Affairs investigation is expected to be finalized next week.

The acting Customs director confirms the victim filed a complaint with police. KUAM News confirmed the alleged victim is an officer assigned to the Internal Affairs section. Sgambelluri says he did not file a criminal complaint with the Guam Police Department because he was waiting for the findings of the Internal Affairs investigation.

Additionally, he says the alleged victim has been removed from investigating the case. Blas used to be a driver for Lieutenant Governor's Kaleo Moylan’s wife, Julie. He was the only Customs officer assigned to executive security, as the job is normally performed by police officers. Only recently was he transferred back to the Customs agency where he was detailed at the Airport.
