The Guam Bar Association is not saying what action, if any, it will take against Attorney Charles Kinnunen. The lawyer was indicted by a Superior Court grand jury earlier this week charged with two counts of conspiracy to engage in witness bribery as a third-degree felony.

Guam Bar president Attorney Jay Arriola could neither confirm the existence of status of an investigation or ethics complaint against Kinnunen.

According to news files, Kinnunen, former Guam attorney Haim Habib, and Habib's girlfriend, Francisca Petrus, are accused of conspiring to bribe two female minors to leave the island, or they would be threatened.

Kinnunen was ordered to appear before the Superior Court on December 10.
