GPD investigates traffic fatality
The Guam Police Department's Highway Patrol Division is investigating a crash that left a man dead. Guam Police Spokesperson Officer Allan Guzman says a patrol officer was traveling westbound on O'Brien Drive and Tenbat Street in Hagatna just before midnight when he saw the male driver of a pickup truck traveling eastbound crash his vehicle into a concrete wall.
The victim has been identified as 46-year-old Zhong Lin Yang. An autopsy is likely to be conducted later today. This marks the 5th traffic-related fatality of the year.
