The Guam Community College has broken ground for a new Allied Health Center. The twenty four thousand square foot building will enhance student learning while housing state-of-the-art classrooms and laboratories supporting students majoring in the License Practical Nursing and Medical Assisting programs.

GCC President Mary Okada says the $4,000,000 structure will help make education at the college more convenient and with the impending military buildup may reduce the shortage of healthcare professionals in the region.
