Military helps get GW ready for Class of '09

In Mangilao today, school officials, the military and others were also cleaning house at George Washington High School in order to prepare for double session with JFK students. Lieutenant Leo Palomares with the 254th Red Horse Squadron they had one mission and one mission only while at GW today: "Our tasking today was to come out and focus mainly on the air conditioning units here at the school. Our priority was to change the filters and if need be do any minor fixing of the air conditioners," he said.

On Monday, according to GPSS officials, the Department of Public Works and Guam Power Authority will start work on repairing the ac units in all 61 classrooms.
