In an effort to right-size the Guam Police Department for personnel and community needs, a public hearing was held this afternoon on GPD's proposed reorganization. The plan outlines various divisions and new bureaus that they will fall under to reduce operating costs and streamline the organization's structure.

Police Chief Paul Suba said, "It just spreads out the work fairly and equally, but it also makes the lines clearer for each individual to approach without too many layers of management in between."

No one attended today's hearing.
