Just a few weeks after his murder conviction was overturned, Larry Van Bui appeared back in the Superior Court today. Van Bui was sentenced to 20 years behind bars after pleading guilty to manslaughter for stabbing his ex-girlfriend to death in 2003.

Justices found that he did not knowingly and intelligently plead guilty to the charge. Another further proceedings hearing will be held on September 26.
