Turning to Decision 2008 news, originally scheduled to meet in August, the Guam Election Commission Board moved up the date of their next meeting to next Thursday at 4 in the afternoon. According to GEC Executive Director John Blas, recently signed Bill 279 is on the agenda. The new law contains a rider that would mandate a senatorial primary even if one party doesn't have a full slate of 15 candidates.
