Believing he's the right candidate to move the nation forward, Guam congresswoman Madeleine Bordallo has pledged her support as a superdelegate to Barack Obama. Bordallo stated, "Senator Obama offers us the leadership needed to address the challenges Guam and our nation will face in the coming years." The congresswoman also believes that Obama fully understands and supports war reparations for the island, adding that he's pledged to improve Guam's economy.

Obama meanwhile is grateful for the endorsement and support, writing, "Congresswoman Bordallo has been fighting to ensure that the people of Guam have a voice in Washington. I look forward to working with her to ensure that young people in Guam have the education and opportunities they need to meet the challenges of the 21st Century." Obama is only 107 delegates away from securing the Democratic presidential nomination.
