Island residents can vote on two designs for the Guam quarter. The two designs are available on the Governor's web site (see below), and residents can vote on each of the designs and the one with the most votes will be recommended to the United States Mint. Governor Felix Camacho encourages all residents to take part in the selection process. He added, "The Guam quarter will be a lasting symbol of our heritage and our people."

The first design features the island of Guam surrounded by a proa and a latte stone. The second design showcases an islandscape complete with a proa in the water and a coconut tree. Both quarters include the words Guahan I Tano Man Chamorro. For the last two months, the U.S. Mint has worked with the Selection Task Force to develop the designs that are emblematic of the island.

Votes will be collected until June 14, 2008 with the final design for the territory's quarter expected by July.
