As the death toll from last week's earthquake in China peaks at over 34,000 and another 245,000 injured, supplies are continuing to be flown in by the United States Air Force. Two C-17 aircraft delivered 200 of relief supplies including food and water containers, blankets, generators lanterns and various hand tools.

U.S. PACOM officials say the focus of this humanitarian assistance mission is to immediately provide assistance to help reduce further loss of life and mitigate human suffering resulting from the disaster.
