Former airport police chief Mark Charfauros' appeal with the Civil Service Commission was expected to be heard this week, but the matter will be rescheduled. The former senator appealed his termination from the Guam International Airport Authority, contending management had no grounds to fire him. Instead the former senator alleges he was the victim of retribution.Airport management, however, stands by the decision to terminate Charfauros, saying he was fired because of insubordination. The Commission is not expected to have a quorum to hold the meeting.
