The southern village of Agat is preparing for their second annual Mango Festival, set to take place early next month. Mayor Carol Tayama says her village will be hosting several activities to include a 5k run, the coronation of the Little Miss Mango, a canoe paddle race, various culinary and baking competitions. She says this year they've added two more competitions to determine who makes the best mango juice and pickled mango. But before the actual event takes place, Mayor Tayama says they're looking for vendors to signup. "We need help on entertainers to come out. We need help on people to participate on the contest and the games that we're scheduling," she said. This year, Tayama says vendors are required to sell any mango product. If you're interested in signing up, contact the Agat Mayor's Office at 565-2524.
