The owner of the former Alindog Karaoke Lounge will have to serve 16 months behind bars. Zenaida Reyes had hoped for home confinement and probation instead of being locked-up. Reyes has been cooperating with the federal government for a year after pleading guilty to bribing a U.S. Embassy official in the Philippines to bring in nine female nationals to work at her bar in Harmon.

Today she was issued her sentence, and will be allowed to self-surrender when a facility is designated.
