The chairman of the Legislative Committee on Reorganization apparently wants to reorganize the Guam Education Policy Board and give the power back to the governor to hire a superintendent of education. Senator Frank Ishizaki (R) has introduced Bill 293, which would create a new education board consisting of four people appointed by the chief executive, and five elected through a district-wide election.
