Disconnection of village streetlights continues today as crews from the Guam Power Authority are scheduled to permanently dismantle streetlights in the village of Agat, Yigo and Tamuning. On Monday they disconnected lights in Dededo, Umatac and Agana Heights.

Meanwhile, there's still been no payment for the past due money for the streetlights, meaning island residents are getting closer to seeing a 6% baserate increase on June 1.
