The Guam Land Use Commission has reviewed a request for a major development project in Nimitz Hill. JHP Development intends to build 240 total units consisting of condos, townhomes and single family dwelling units. Approval for the project located around 250 feet north of Nimitz Hill as you travel up Route 6 is pending.GLUC chairperson Jay Lather says the project so far appears to be a win-win, telling KUAM News, "That also includes building new infrastructure, water and sewer all the way up from Asan Springs over to Piti and rebuilding the Piti water tank and then sending water all the way up to parallel the existing Navy system up to the Nimitz Estates area."
