Federal receiver Gershman, Brickner & Bratton will be on island for at least a couple of weeks to gain firsthand perspective on what needs to be done to close the Ordot Dump and open a new landfill in Dandan. Department of Public Works director Larry Perez confirms GBB representatives will be on island on Wednesday, saying that they are in receipt of all documents and research already done by Guam consultants pertaining to the two areas and expects GBB to have a detailed plan of action, including project milestones and a anticipated date of completion for the closure of Ordot and the opening of a new landfill in Dandan.

Said Perez, "I would think that they would take away from all these meetings a snapshot of what were the challenges and further develop or fine tune their action plan."
