A health fair will be held this weekend at the Sinajana Community Center. According to Mayor Roque Blas, aside from his personal experiences he's motivated in encouraging the island community to live a healthy lifestyle. "A lot of these things happened since my wife came back from cancer treatment, as well as myself being a diabetic individual for the last eleven years. We've been looking at ways to how we can combat the situation by changing our lifestyles. We're trying to have a healthy lifestyle by choice," he explained. The Sinajana health fair is scheduled for Sunday from 9 in the morning to 3 in the afternoon. There will be free professional medical presentations, informational booklets, handouts, free blood pressure, blood test and flu shots while supplies last.
