The Legislative Committee on Natural Resources, chaired by Senator Jim Espaldon, will hold an oversight hearing with the Department of Public Works this Thurdsay. The oversight was called at the request of Senator Ben Pangelinan (D). Aside from solid waste issues, Espaldon says the agency has a broad mandate such as the bussing of the island's school children and road repairs. He says the hearing will provide an opportunity for all senators to query DPW on a wide range of issues.

Thursday's oversight hearing gets underway at 9 in the morning.
