It's going to be an extended Spring Break for Southern High School students will not be heading to class on Monday. Superintendent of public education Luis Reyes says two specific problems remain under mitigation, pointing out the school's algae-infested swimming pool and hazardous waste found on campus. Reyes was unable to provide a specific date when the Home of the Dolphins may re-open.

He did note, however, that the Guam Public School System has one flexible makeup day left in the current school year's calendar.
